Given that in the mainline games, Alolan Vulpix evolve with an Ice Stone, I'm wondering if the rules are different here. (Not that that's a bad thing -- I'm not above changing the in-universe rules to suit an AU story, so I won't fault you for changing things here either. Just noticing.)

@Trollkitten aaa thanks so much!! I'm super proud of that coalossal regional design, I was always disappointed it wasn't actually a train hehe. And she'll also need an ice stone in addition to the full tail spread, but it seems Inigo has other priorities on the mind!
@Cas The special episode was super fun to work on! It was a blast getting to work with a sort of tone I don't usually get to display in the main comic. And aaa thanks so much, I'm glad you like the designs! Hybrids are always super fun to me, so getting to draw them all the time is a real treat.
@erk pls A much better type of Monster House than the ones in the games!! I do love their sibling dynamic, I'm really excited to explore more of that soon!
@Dee Dielle tried to offer them spicy milk but it didn't work out :(
@Bowser's Family Vacation If Wigglytuff and Yohann teamed up, their style would be so powerful it'd be blinding..........

Drama between team members is always fun to see; I sympathize with Inigo over how much of a tool Julius is, but he's definitely (if inadvertently) developing a meaner/nastier side! I hope someone talks sense into the boy.

Love this chapter, as always! Really lovin' the dynamic between team members, and all the delightful drama that will occur in the future. The angst that's going on with our boy sure is strong, so I hope that he doesn't think his rank-rising skill is being overlooked. Which it kind of is... Maybe this week will settle things between the team. How can they be stronger if they can't cooperate?

I've seen this somewhere else I think, Tumblr? Gosh, Rune didn't even have an aura back then. Really happy to find it here and read the whole thing!!! (Isn't it annoying that you can spend years on a project only for someone to binge it in an evening? 😅 )

Your art has gotten really slick over the run. Characters pop really nicely against the backgrounds, your lines are really nice.

I'm worried about Inigo. There's more to fighting than raw power.
And it's so nice to see characters bonding over non-guild hobbies.
The little world building touches like what drinks they drink and all the background Pokemon is just, ugh, chefs kiss, really good stuff.

I mean, I had a Diglett named Molehill in my PMD fan fiction, and he turned out to be an actual mole in the colloquial sense so it was a double pun and one that I should not be particularly proud of BUT I AM, so I guess that makes two of us.

(Yes I know Milotic are actually based on oarfish, that doesn't make it less funny)

Poor Rune feeling like the glorified escort. She's been through so much already, she doesn't need a crippling sense of inferiority on top of that.
