Baby Inigo looks adorable!
Also, one thing that I really like about this page is how differently Dielle's new family treats her. Mateo kept her distant from everyone due to her shocks and didn't let her interact. But Moxie lets Dielle hold a newborn, the most vulnerable thing ever, without fear or restraint. It really shows the difference in trust and love.

The lullaby referenced throughout this Special Episode is the English translation of the song Chiisaki Mono used in the pokemon movie, Jirachi: Wishmaker! You can listen to it here (I can't find any rips of this song that aren't outdated looking lyric videos, but I think that just kinda adds to the charm)! I also love the original version of the song which is less about wishing and more about revisiting childhood, which I did quite a bit when writing this story. I don't wanna get too deep into it, but a lot of the Dielle's experiences throughout this story reflected my own growing up, and getting to explore the feelings I felt from that time in a brief little comic was nice. Thank you all for your support as this story unfolded!

@Dee YEAH!! I've had a lot of folks tell me that Mateo wasn't a bad dad- and to some extent that's true, he tried what he probably considered his personal best while dealing with depression, and we never saw him outright abuse Dielle in any obvious ways- but the distance her dad put between them was harming both their parent/child relationship as well as Dielle's own emotional growth. I remember experiencing that distinct dichotomy myself for the first time as I entered adulthood, and it was fun to write about!

The ending to this little story was lovely! I adore seeing Dielle get the loving family she deserves, poor girl.
